The Business Challenge
A global leader and OEM in wireless and mobile communication technologies was preparing to expand its product line and needed a new e-commerce store to sell products in a global market. Their new e-commerce website needed to support an international set of languages and currencies while maintaining a consistent look and feel across the locales.
The online shopping experience had to be intelligent and sophisticated to help users seamlessly navigate the extensive product catalog, add items to their shopping carts, and securely guide them through the checkout process.
The Solution
Engroove was sub-contracted to develop a robust e-commerce engine, designed to meet the requirements of the original equipment manufacturers. A sophisticated and cutting-edge front end user interface was designed that directly interfaces with the backend inventory and order management system that includes tracking order history and user account information.
The internationalized e-commerce web application additionally features product promotions and cross-sell marketing capabilities with secure credit card processing. Website analytics and search engine optimzation were also built in to increase visibilty and ROI.
